((Wargh~ Crap title is crap... I'm sorry~!!! D: ))
When no one was in the library it turned into a scary place. Flickering lights and creaking furniture made for a spooky environment, so Gupta helped keep his wandering thoughts occupied by reciting poetry when he was amongst the weathered rows of shelves. He was currently re-shelving books while he waited for his new assistant, a certain Juliana Schneider.
'It will be most good to have a helper... I can get all of these books re-shelved much faster now~!'
He could here the 5th block music class singing just down the hall. It reminded him of one of his favorite poems about music and he just HAD to recite it now or it would be bugging him for the rest of the day. It anyone had been in the massive library they would have certainly been startled when his whisper-y voice suddenly arose from the biography section at the back of the library.
'Music doth uplift me like a sea; Towards my planet pale; Then through dark fogs or heaven's infinity; I lift my wandering sail...'
As he started he picked up a book about George Washington and another about Abraham Lincoln. He paused his impromptu poetry recital to shelve those books and another about Nikola Tesla. It was quiet for a moment then suddenly, Gupta picked back up where he left off.
'With breast advanced, drinking the winds that flee; And through the cordage wail; I mount the hurrying waves night hides from me; Beneath her sombre veil...'
Another pause as he went down the rows of shelves towards another section of the library. His words seemed to trail after him as they echoed softly through out the library.
'I feel the tremblings of all passions known; To ships before the breeze; Cradled by gentle winds, or tempest-blown...'
Yet another pause as the shelved several books involving the Grimm fairy Tales and Norse mythology. Finally the tan man let out a wispy sigh and finished the poem.
'I pass the abysmal seas; That are, when calm, the mirror level and fair; Of my despair!'
The Kheffiyah clad man smiled, a little more at ease. He continued to shelve books, humming softly to himself as he worked.

((It's fine Hun! I for one like it!))
Juliana hated Libraries.
Well not really libraries she hated quiet and dim places for it brought her back to Moscow when her Cousin Ivan would come home drunk and start looking for her with a metal pipe in his hand. She would always go and hide in the darkest and quietest places and prayed to god that her cousin never found her.
She shuddered those were very dark times but they were behind her and she wasn’t about to let it affect her studies! If she did then her cousins won that battle of dominating her. Her wandering eyes looked around the rows of books threatening to break the silence that hung over the place to call out if anyone was near.
She was about to make her leave of this place when she heard something...it was whispery yet very creepy like a ghost. But that couldn't be true! She was an atheist and didn't believe in such things! But she could not deny that she heard something!
Cautiously she stalked towards the noise making each step very quiet until she reached where she heard the voice louder and found the owner of it's voice. It was Mr. Hassen the teacher she was to assist in this period. She sighed in relief so she wasn't alone...she stood there quietly, in her country a woman never approached a man it was always the other way around. Always. So she'd stand there u til he noticed her even if it was all afternoon.

As Gupta replaced the final book on his cart he turned to retrieve the next one only to come face to face with a smaller student. Letting out a soft gasp the grip on the empty cart grew tighter until he realized that it was just Juliana then he relaxed.
"Miss Schneider! I did not hear you come in. How long have you been, um, standing there?"
Gupta fidgeted nervously, realizing that she had probably been standing there the entire time. He cleared his throat, and adjusted his neck tie, blushing ever so slightly.
"I... What did you, um, hear?"

Juliana nearly jumped out her own skin at her teacher’s own reaction to her presence. When she was already nervous her body was more susceptible to jumps and shakes. Seeing the rather sheepish and embarrassed look in his eyes as well as the blush she realized that he must have been embarrassed of her discovery of him muttering to himself.
She gave her superior a sweet yet very polite smile as she nodded her head down in respect as most girls from Czech Republic did when addressing their teachers. “I am very sorry to have surprised you sir…and I’m afraid that I didn’t hear anything…why?”
She partially lied, she did hear something; his voice but she wasn’t going to bring it into light unless necessary! After all no word that he muttered was salvaged to where she could repeat anything to him. She allowed for a pause to settle then coughing into her hand started to talk again which felt very foreign…women were to remain silent unless spoken to…but that was the same for men as well. “I am here to begin my duties as your assistant sir! Whatever task you have for me I’ll do to the best of my abilities!”
This was very much true. A Czech, being male or female always strived to do their best, doing only half of the job was considered to be a disgrace to your honor. She held this tradition close and used it to motivate her to do her best in everything she did.

"You did not hear me... That's, uh, good I suppose. All though... I was only reciting poetry so what I said was not necessarily bad."
'She is just about as quiet as I am... This is good I suppose; do not want a noisy assistant...'
Gupta cleared his throat softly, taking of his Kheffiyah momentarily to scratch the back of his head.
"Ah Na'am /yes/... Whatever task I have... good. Um... I suppose you could help me re-shelve the last two carts of books then..." Gupta put his Kheffiyah back on and moved the cart slowly, making sure not to bump into Juliana or run her toes over.
"Now tell me... What do you know of the Dewy Decimal system? That is how the books are shelved here, along with a numerical system."

Juliana cocked a brow looking confused. It was abundantly clear to the young Czech that she had no idea what he was talking about. She never really paid attention when in a Library; in fact she had never spent much time in one. She recieved all her books as gifts from her brother, Gabriel. So when he mentioned a 'Dewy Decimal system' she was rather confused. But as far as a numerical system went she could handle that no problem. She was a naturally meticulous girl as were most Czechs and loved to keep everything organized. If anything were out of order she would instantly have a fit.
Casually her eyes wandered around the room seeing the shelves above were well organized as far as she could tell; all of them standing up straight pressed neatly to the back of the shelf neatly pushed together by the bookends. Juliana admired organization like that...it felt like she was back in Europe where almsot everything was tidy (well except at her brother Feliks house which was always disorderely unless she came to clean it).
Something however forced her to stop and her smile to slowly fade away. In this seemingly flawless display there was one flaw that her sharp eyes caught...A book that wasn't pushed in far enough in the shelf making it uneven with the others. Other people wouldn't of thought twice about it...but to Juliana it was an eyesore that would cease to leave.
Without uttering a single word she strolled over to the ladder pushing it towards the spot then proceeded to climb up the ladder a deteremined look in her eyes neverminding the fact that she was terrifyed of heights. She was demonstrating the will of the Czechs...if you wanted it done right you had to do it yourself.

"You know nothing of the Dewey Decimal System I gather-- what are you doing?" Gupta watch as Juliana strode of down the isle. He followed her line of sight and spotted a book that was farther out than the others. 'Well at least she has an eye for organization... I guess I will have to give her a mini lesson on the *D.D.S...' The tanned librarian took the arising opportunity to re-shelve some books. He sifted through the last of the books on the bottom of his cart. Finding a book that went in the spot that Juliana was headed he followed after her, speaking softly as she ascended the ladder. "This actually gives me an wonderful opportunity to show you how the Dewey Decimal System works, Miss Juliana." Gupta came alongside where the younger woman was, placing a few books back. "Do you see the little white stickers near the bottoms of the books spines? Yes, those. Now read out to me what that out of place book has written in it's sticker, if you please." 'We're in the Poets chunk of the Biography section still but near the front so it should say anything from Milton Acorn to Konstantin Balmont.**'*(D.D.S is the abbreviation of Dewey Decimal System obviously) **(Going by the last name, not first. Juliana listened intently as she started to fix the book until it was exactly as she wanted which was rather painstakenly precise being that her hands actually shook with anticipation when she set it straight. She now turned her attention to her teacher looking at the stickers that he was pointing at, nodding when she wanted to aknowledge that she understood what he was saying.
Her face leaned down tilting her glasses up on the bridge of her nose to look at the book's spine. "Voltaire..." She muttered outloud. Her face brightened. She loved Voltaire's work...then again she loved any french writer...they always put so much passion into their works...much like Victor Hugo the Author of The Hunchback of Notre Dame...one of her top 10 favorites.
She smiled signaling that she was ready for the next step...however something made her drift off from Mr. Hassan's words as she heard a rather familiar laugh...both mischevous and obnoxious...it was a disgusting laugh that she had known only one person to possess! Her gaze fell to the ground where she saw there there were three familar faces...Antonio Carriedo Herandez...Francis Bonnefoy...and one Gilbert Bielschmitt...a German boy who Juliana had the misfortune to call 'step-brother'.
She saw that the three of them were at a computer which was nothing suspicious at all...what was suspcious was those looks on their faces notably Gil's...his look reminded her of when she had caught him looking at 'Rated X' pictures on his laptops a day that she wished to forget...With her eyes narrowed into slits she opened her mouth to speak.
"Gilbert Beilschmitt!" She yelled in her scolding voice ignoring the 'inside voice' rule that every library held. "What the hell are you doing down there!?" The three jumped in surprise as Gilbert stared up at his goody two shoes Step Sister 'Julie' as he liked to call her. He had a very guilty look on his face much like when she caught him that one time doing things he wasn't suppose to on his laptop but was fast to regain his composure...he was an adult...not a stupid pre-teenager...
"None of your damn buisness Schwenster!" He yelled up to her smirking and sticking his tongue out and continued with his buisness...oh yes he was so awesome like that...there was no way she'd retaliate against him...no way no how...the looks that she was giving him however stated otherwise...

Gupta flinched as Juliana suddenly shouted.
"Gilbert Beilschmitt! What the hell are you doing down there!?"
'ok so there are others in the library aside from Miss Juliana and I... and with the direction Juliana is looking I would guess they are in the Tech Lab...'
He flinched again as an obnoxious voice rose up, even louder that Juliana's.
"None of your damn business Schwenster!"
Gupta sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he walked over an isle or two so that he was in the line of sight of whomever was in the Tech Lab. Speaking only loud enough for both of them to hear.
"Will both of you mind the rules?! No shouting in the Library, understand?"He then walked back over to where Juliana was. "oh and Juliana? That book is actually out of place if you say it is Voltaire. That book would be down near the end of this isle."

Juliana snapped out of her glare to look to Mr. Hassen and nodded to him understanding now how this system worked. She always was a quick study. Strolling over to the V section she had a sweet smile on her face placing it right where it belonged but not before reading a small passage to herself quietly...
"Je ne suis pas d'accord avec ce que vous avez à dire, mais je me battrai jusqu'à la mort votre droit de le dire..."
One one spoke French like she did they would know that, that phrase meant;
"I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it".
A warm smile touched her face...Voltaire was a genius of his time along with Frederich the Great...no wonder the two were friends and colleges...
"Whatcha doing Schwenster?"
Juliana nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the sound of Gilbert's voice right next to her ear. She dropped the book when doing so then turned her dangerous glare onto the German. Gil stood there with his cocky smile obviously very much oblvious to the apparent danger before him...Francis and Antonio kept a very safe distant off at the end of the ilse. The Frenchman tried to convince his friend not to antagonize his sister...knowing as well as anyone how bad her temper was...he could not persuade Gil but could at least keep one oblivious idiot safe meaning Antonio who stood there looking confused as Francis held him back from following their soon to be dead German friend.
Juliana snarled at that smirk...it made her think back on those days when he would torment her as a child...something she never forgot which did not work to Gil's favor. The albino stared at his sister's glare and found it so amusing reaching down and ruffling her hair like the dick he was.
"You don't need to get so tempermental little sis...its so lame..."
At that comment she bit his hand making him hold in a scream in surprise and pain finding that the more he tried to pull his hand back her teeth sunk in deeper much like a puppy. He started to curse at her in German the basic translations being 'Get your dirty mouth off of my hand you bottemless stupidity. If she was a man maybe he's attempt to beat her off him...but she was a woman and his sister...a step sister but still a sister and couldn't bring himself to do it.
"LET GO JULIE!"
He pulled back as hard as he could as a man in his position could then suddenly was sent tumbling back when she suddenly released him sending his back against one of the book cases a little too hard as the impact echoed in the vast library.

*CLACK....... CLACK...... CLACK..... CLACK.... CLACK... CLACK.. CLACK. BOOM*
Gupta flinched as each shuddering clack filled the near quiet library, then his eyes pinched shut as the last bookshelf hit the carpeted floor with a resounding boom.
'I don't even want to look...' But he had too. He needed to make sure no one had gotten hurt. When he turned around his eyes grew wide. He saw the culprit immediately. The nerve on his temple bunched up, becoming visible just below his skin. All was quiet for a moment then a deafening roar rose up to pierce the sudden calm.
"GILBERT BEILSCHMITT!!!"

The group of teenagers flinched in sudden terror as they all looked up and met eyes with their demonic teacher as he slowly approached them. All four of them had never seen him angered…universally he was calm and collected…a picture of serenity. Seeing him like this was almost like seeing a raging monster storm at them and was just as terrifying. Instinctively Juliana pulled Gilbert in front of her so to hide. She was a brave young lady but even she knew when to hide and take protection from someone who was mightier than she was!
Gilbert felt a shudder run down his spine…this felt about as worse when Julie’s big scary Russian Cousin came over for a visit…almost that is…he doubted that even their teacher could match the very might of Ivan Braginski. He was forced to stand up straight when Juliana hide behind him forcing him to look down at her shaking figure…so she was scared…Biting his lip he stood up tall and brave like…he was the man here and he would act like one whether he liked it or not!
“Uh…Ja Teacher sir…uh you um wanted to talk to me about something?”
At this point Francis and Antonio had made their way towards the siblings now standing next to them…Francis surveying the damage as he flinched thinking over how much punishment this was going to result in…for Gilbert that was.

Gupta was SO mad, he didn't think he had ever been this mad at anyone, but that anger quickly turned to grief. He drew close to the small group so he wouldn't have to strain his voice anymore than he just did.
"I- I ... Yes I do need to talk to you, TO ALL OF YOU, about something..." He pause, taking in a deep breath, trying desperately to regain his composure. "What for the love of RA happened just now?!"
He looked over to the massacre that lay before him, letting out a noise that sounded very similar to a sob. Eight large bookshelves, toppled over. Hundreds, no THOUSANDS, of books de-shelved and more than likely ruined. And to top it all off, the kid who more than like caused it all to happen, was completely clueless as to what it was he did.
'I don't think the Blonde kid nor the Latino kid had anything to do with this... they were over at the computers before this happened and they just got over here now... but Juliana and Gilbert...'
"... Juliana... can you please tell me what happened?"
As Gupta spoke he almost seemed to deflate, dropping slowly down onto his knees, facing the mess before him.
(I can imagen that Gupta would refer to the Egyptian Gods instead of the Christian's God)

Juliana flinched when Mr. Hassen questioned her...she wondered for a moment what to say...if she told him he'd know it was her fault that it happened since she was the one who sunk her teeth into Gil's hand...but of course Gilbert would be the one punished...he always was the one who got into trouble...Swallowing hard she opened her mouth to speak only to find that she was beaten to the punch.
"It vas mien fault Herr Professor..." What he said even surprised himself...but though Gil acted like an asshole and seemed to be selfish, he cared deeply about his siblings whether they be blood or not. He felt that it was his duty to take the blame for his little Julie...even though it really was her fault. If his brother Ludwig had been in the same situation he'd do the same.
Juliana was frozen as were the two other members of the 'Bad Touch Trio'. Was Gil actually standing up for someone? Taking the fall for another? Now that was both shocking and refreshing seeing how he seemed to try and drill in the 'live alone die alone' image into their skulls. Juliana was simply touched by the notion indeed but she couldn't accept it...it was her fault and she needed to take responcibility. "No Mr. Hassen it's my fault! I shouldn't of reacted the way I did!"
Gil then covered her mouth shutting her up at once. The stupid girl! She didn't need to go and act all awesome and shit...that was his job! And besides he was her big brother he and dammit he was going to do it right! He flashed a quick grin to Mr. Hassen who he could tell was not amused. "Don't listen to my sister she's a very confused and stupid little girl and says even stupidier things so yeah it was my fault end of--AHHHH!" He pulled back and flailed with Juliana bit him yet again on the hand almost hitting the exact same spot she bit before where it was starting to bleed. He staggered back his back hitting hard against the bookshelf across from them and like dejavu the same chain reaction followed with the other bookshelves.

"It vas mien fault Herr Professor..." Gupta looked to Juliana. Shocked to find out that his own assistant had somehow caused all of this.
'Okay so Juliana was, to some extent, involved with this catastrophic chain of events--'
"No Mr. Hassen it's my fault! I shouldn't of reacted the way I did!" Gupta looked over to Gilbert.
'and he is now trying to take all of the blame on himself... I think it would be best if they both just took the blame--'
"Don't listen to my sister she's a very confused and stupid little girl and says even stupider things...'
Gupta watched as Gilbert clapped his hand over Juliana's mouth, trying to silence her. He knew that by the look in Juliana's eyes that this did not bode well with her.
"...so yeah it was my fault end of--AHHHH!"
'She bit him... she...she just BIT him on the-- OH COME ON!!!!
*CLACK....... CLACK...... CLACK..... CLACK.... CLACK... CLACK.. CLACK. BOOM*
Gupta, who was still on his knees, slumped completely now. His face the perfect image of defeat and sorrow. The kind if look a man would only get if his spirit was completely crushed. He was silent for a moment, then he spoke, his accent heavy on his voice.
"I... I think to this point you're both to be in trouble... not just one." With that he broke down and silently began to cry. "My... My dwelling is thoroughly massacred now... how am I to pay for all of... all of THIS."
